The Latvian Bible Society published the Gospel of Luke on the layout of a modern and brightly illustrated magazine.

The purpose of publishers - with the help of associative images reveal for the modern man the meaning of ancient texts.



According to the newspaper Latvijas avize, today executed a similar way the Bible become the world's more popular because many people are more inclined to magazine format.



"This does not mean that the Bible will no longer be published in a traditional form" - said the representative of the Latvian Bible Society theologian Valdis Teraudkalns, adding that the publication of the magazine version of the Gospel of Luke - it's "a step toward rapidly developing world."
