Episcopacy representatives of Canada, the United States and Latin America gathered in Baltimore to discuss the subject transmission of faith through the media.

"Communion and communication" - the theme of the 36 th meeting of Bishops in the Americas. Hierarchs discussed how new media, fast and affordable, can be used in the dissemination of knowledge and personal experience, the message of Christ, both in Church and in society at large.

The prelates also discussed the need to encourage the faithful to reflect in the light of the gospel on what they find in the media.

Overall, the meeting was attended by 18 representatives of the official church of Episcopal Conferences of Latin America, Canada, the United States, Peru, Chile, Panama and Brazil.
